My Friend Aleihs has been inviting me to visit her hometown Ilocos since we were in college. The trip was postponed twice but finally last Nov., I got to visit her. When Aleihs said Ilocos is amazing, she meant every word of it.
Maria de leon, nope that's not a name of an Ilocana we met but the name of the Bus Line we rode to get there. It's a long trip going to Ilocos-9hour bus ride from Manila. But the trip is truly worth it.
When in Ilocos do not forget to eat their longganisa with their house suka and pakbet! Huwag ding palampasin na bisitahin ang Vigan at Pagudpud. Happy Trip!
